Branded generics vs Trade generics vs Generic generic

- Branded generic drug: A branded generic drug is sold under brand name and is promoted by a pharmaceutical company through its medical representatives.
- Trade generic drug: A trade generic drug is also sold under brand name but they are not promoted by a pharmaceutical company. They are left to the retailers to push their medicines and they are supplied to the retailers with a very high trade margin.
- Generic generic drug: A generic generic drug is sold only under chemical or salt name and it is mostly an institution supply.
All three are same in terms of quality but they are marketed differently.
